Getting to know Corner Health

What is Corner Health?

A network of independent, nurse practitioner-owned primary care practices across Arizona and Washington. Every provider is vetted and held to the same standard, so care feels consistent wherever you go.

Is it one clinic or many?

It’s many. You choose an individual provider who runs their own local practice, and the network is what keeps the quality consistent across all of them.

Where is Corner Health available?

Across Arizona and Washington, with more locations opening over time. Use the finder to see who’s near you.

Is a nurse practitioner a real primary care provider?

Yes. Nurse practitioners are licensed, board-certified clinicians who diagnose conditions, order labs, manage chronic conditions, and prescribe medication. The NP-led model is also what makes smaller patient panels and longer visits possible.

Booking and getting care

How do I find the right provider?

Enter your location, filter by insurance, language, and what you’re coming in for, then book. Every profile shows a photo, background, and real reviews.

How quickly can I be seen?

Often within the same week, and frequently the same day. Many providers also offer evening and Saturday visits.

What can my provider help with?

Primary and preventative care, chronic conditions, women’s health, hormones, medical weight loss, and wellness services. One provider can handle most of what you need.

Are visits in person or virtual?

Both. Many providers offer telehealth alongside in-person visits, including some evening and weekend slots. Each provider’s profile shows what they offer.

Can my whole family see the same provider?

Yes. Many providers care for both adults and children, so your whole family can share one practice. Each provider’s profile shows whether they take pediatric and family patients.

Will I see the same provider every time?

Yes. You choose your provider once and see them at each visit, so you’re not repeating your history.

Can I switch providers?

Yes, at any time. You can browse the network and book with a different provider whenever you’d like.

Insurance and cost

Do you take my insurance?

Providers accept most major plans, including Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicare. Coverage varies by provider, so filter the finder by your carrier to see your matches.

Is this a membership or concierge service?

No. There’s no membership fee and no annual retainer. You use your insurance the way you would for any primary care visit.

What about services my insurance doesn’t cover?

Some wellness services may be cash-pay, and the pricing is always shared up front so there are no surprises.

What to expect from your care

Why do visits feel different here?

Providers see fewer patients a day, so appointments run longer and you get a real plan. New patient visits run around 40 minutes.

I’ve been blown off by doctors before. How is this different?

Providers are chosen in part for how they listen, and the reviews show it. Read what patients say on every profile before you book.

How are providers vetted?

Fewer than 1 in 5 applicants are accepted into the network. Every provider is reviewed for their credentials, experience, and quality of care before being accepted.

For nurse practitioners

I’m a nurse practitioner. What is Corner Health for me?

Run your own independent practice with the freedom to practice your way, backed by the support that usually makes going independent hard.

What does the network handle?

The network handles billing, credentialing, prior authorizations, scheduling, your website, marketing, and technology, so you can focus on your patients.

Do I stay independent?

Yes. Practices on the network are provider-owned. You keep clinical independence and ownership.
